Hi, I'm Vincent Isles and this is my little domain on the net.

About Me

I'm a professional teacher employed by PAREF Springdale School, an exclusive all-male (both faculty and students) school in Cebu City, Philippines. I graduated last March 2005 from the University of San Carlos with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education, double majors in physics and mathematics, and passed the national Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in the same year. Last June 2007, after not being a student for two years, I enrolled at the University of the Philippines in the Visayas - Cebu Campus for a Master of Education Major in Mathematics degree; finished the required 36 units, 6 semesters, 30,000 pesos; prepared for the comprehensive examinations; and completely misunderstood the instructions from the Office of the Registrar. I ended up being enrolled at the University of Cebu College of Law. I currently enjoy a 20,000-peso-scholarship (thanks, Atty. Paloma), so I am not so intent in returning to UP to finish my masters of education degree.

SY 2009-2010 is my fifth school year at PAREF Springdale School and I already have a couple of subjects which I've taught: Advanced Physics, Matter and Energy I and II, General Chemistry, Analytic Geometry, Probability and Statistics, as well as Asian Studies, World History (the old curriculum) and Ancient World History (new curriculum). Oh yeah, I've also substituted as a Work Ed teacher for one quarter, teaching Asian Cuisine :)
