Metallurgical plant

A metallurgical plant is any facility involved in processes which include, but not limited to, the following: (1) Preparation, separation, concentration of minerals, coal and metallurgical fuels; (2) Extraction of metals such as hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and electrometallurgical processes; and (3) Adaptation and application of metals such as melting, casting, forging, rolling, extrusion, powder metallurgy, heat treatment, welding and other metal working and finishing operations.
