Grave child rights violations

Grave child rights violations refer to the crimes committed against children that constitute flagrant violations of their human rights and have severe consequences on their lives. These crimes include those enumerated in Section 9 of the Special Protection of Children in Situations of Armed Conflict Act, Republic Act No. 11188, January 10, 2019, such as killing or maiming of children, recruitment or use of children involved in armed conflict (CIAC), rape and other forms of sexual violence against children, abduction of children, attacks against schools or hospitals, or denial of humanitarian access to children.
