HIV transmission

HIV transmission refers to the transfer of HIV from one infected person to an uninfected individual, through unprotected sexual intercourse, blood transfusion, sharing of contaminated intravenous needles, or which may occur during pregnancy, delivery, and breastfeeding. (Sec. 3(x), R.A. No. 11166)
