National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors, and Their Families Act
Republic Act No. 11468, approved on January 23, 2020, declared every third Sunday of November as the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors, and Their Families. The Department of Transportation (DoTr) in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) was mandated to implement programs and activities to ensure a meaningful observance of the said Day of Remembrance, such as commemorative ceremonies, special blood donation campaign, inter-faith and inter-religious commemoration, etc.
