Tertiary education

Under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, tertiary education refers to the stage of education following the secondary cycle which covers post-secondary nondegree diploma, technical-vocational education and training (TVET), and higher education programs, including graduate education. Under the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) Act, tertiary education refers to the stage of education following the secondary cycle which subsumes post-secondary non-degree diploma, technical-vocational education and training (TVET), and higher education programs. Under the Youth Entrepreneurship Act, tertiary education refers to any post-secondary education may it be a technical, vocational, or degree program. (Sec. 3(f), R.A. No. 10679)
