Under the Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act, workplace refers to the office, premise or work site where workers are habitually employed and shall include the office or place where workers, with no fixed or definite work site, regularly report for assignment in the course of their employment. Under Republic Act No. 11058, An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof, workplace refers to any site or location where workers need to be or to go to by reason of their work, and which are under the direct or indirect control of the employer.
