As I’ve posted last week, I have recovered ISLESV.NET, and would be removing all contents from attyv.com and transferring them to ISLESV.NET, reserving for another use attyv.com which is registered up to June 1, 2031 (yes, 2031).
I registered attyv.com last June 1, 2019, after I lost ISLESV.COM due to (again) pure negligence on my part to renew its registration.
It is tempting to just continue using attyv.com, considering that it still registered for the next eight years. If I use that as my personal domain though, I would have to change my personal email address to something close to it, but Google will not allow me to register attyv@gmail.com:
Besides, I control the username “islesv” or “islesv2” in most social media sites:
On the other hand:
- https://www.facebook.com/attyv is controlled by an Atty. van der Voet from the Netherlands
- https://www.instagram.com/attyv/ is a private account belonging to someone
- I doubt if Google will allow https://www.youtube.com/@attyv to be taken
- https://twitter.com/attyv is controlled by someone who was a law student also in 2009
- https://www.reddit.com/user/attyv is for the vincent.isles@vislesco.com account (I just created it right now)
How about ISLESV.COM? For one, I registered ISLESV.NET on February 21, 2008, but I only registered ISLESV.COM I think a decade later. Besides, the asking price (USD 2,095.00 which is PHP 114,603.83) is just too much.
